{Navy & Green Nautical Party}

I am totally in love with this party! I have done several nautical parties before, and all of them have been in the traditional red, white and blue.  So when my friend asked for a Nautical themed party for her two boys, I immediately knew I wanted to do a preppy design in navy blue and emerald green color palette.

I was inspired by several nautical logos I have seen online, so I created one for the boys, with their initials, an anchor and a helm.  The cute logo was used throughout all the decor and design elements from the invitation to the favor boxes and take-out candy bags.

A huge sign with the boy's logo served as a backdrop for the amazing dessert table.  My friend Johanna Padín from GloboArte created the two balloon columns with the kid's ages in silver.

The cake was created by Jovanna Valentín and, let me just say, it captured everything I wanted in a nautical cake.  From the anchor pattern, the stripes to the rope top tier complete with a silver anchor. Simply stunning!

Mari Carmen from Sugar Bliss created all the delicious desserts:  french macarons, sugar cookies, brownies, butter cookies with powdered sugar, individual lemon cheesecakes, chocolate covered marshmallows in striped straws and decadent coconut macaroons.

I created several decorative elements to complement the fabulous candy bar:  anchor toppers for brownies, dessert tags, water bottle labels with stripey straws and washi tape flags, centerpieces and a lovely birthday banner.  I also personalized the blue take-out candy bags with the kid's logo.  Signs in wooden frames thanked their guests for "sailing by".

Favor boxes were decorated in the same fashion, with a tag and ribbon and they filled with all kinds of goodies.

We also had another favor gift station poolside with crates filled with hats, sunglasses, sunblock and inflatable toys for all the kids.

A perfect themed party for a fun day in the sun!

  1. Wow, these are just amazing colors for this party. I also use Navy blue color for the corporate party that I arranged last week. Actually I am working in a corporate event planning firm and arrange decent company parties at lower prices.
