{Golden Safari Baby Shower}

This darling baby shower was a surprise party for my friend's sister-in-law. When deciding on a theme she only said she loved white and I immediately suggested a gold and white color scheme.  I was inspired by a gold and white birthday I found online, but since she's having a boy, we wanted something a little more boyish and less glittery.  The result was a stunning, delicate and elegant event, with the right amount of sparkle.

The dessert table was simple yet elegant, with lovely desserts in golden undertones and white.  The cake was simple and so beautiful, a definite centerpiece by The Cake Factory.

A lot of thought was put into this display, serving sweets that were appropriate for adult guests.  Sugar Bliss created desserts that included lemon cheesecakes as well as pumpkin cheesecake, "turron" {which is a traditional Spanish hard candy made out of caramel and almonds -- delish!), hazelnut chocolates, chocolate truffles and various cookies, including those fantastic coconut royal icing cookies by Cookies by Suehery.

We completed the setup with a garland backdrop, in different shapes and textures.

For centerpieces we created floral arrangements in hand painted vases, our golden animals as toppers and gold figurines.

{Baby Whale Shower}

Nautical themed parties are always a favorite for both baby showers and first birthdays especially this past summer.  So one more couldn't hurt, right?  I am still swooning over this darling baby shower.  Definitely loving the color scheme and all the little details that left guests and especially the mom-to-be speechless.

My client chose a nautical theme, since this will be the decor for their baby boy's nursery.  We decided on choosing navy, turquoise and aqua as our color scheme. The graphics from Basic Pixels by Pixels Paper Prints were perfect as we were searching for a cute baby whale to go with our theme.

As guests arrived to our venue, they were greeted by a welcome table and guestbook.  A seating area with a plush carpet, throw pillows and a huge puppy dog framed our small table that held fresh flowers, nautical themed props and a fingerprint guestbook for all of our guests.

On to the cake and desserts table.  The backdrop custom made nautical garlands and a banner framed by giant blue balloons and aqua tassels.  Tablecloths in navy and white stripes and turquoise.

Tons of sweets by Sugar Bliss by Mari completed the setting.  French macarons, chocolate truffles, nutella tarts, mini cheesecakes, macaroons and amazing cookies by my friend at Cookies by Suehery.  Those 3D cookies are to die for!

The fabulous cake was, as always, a masterpiece.  My friend Jovanna went above and beyond with the colors and the details in this cake.  Perfection!
