{Real Madrid Soccer Party}

I have been doing parties for this beautiful family for a couple of years now.  Today I'm sharing our latest and probably this little man's last birthday since he's turning 12 and is probably getting too old for huge parties.  That said, his mom still wanted to create a small area to display a cake and mostly desserts.  We had already created a soccer party for him two years ago, so this time around he chose a different team and with that we had a completely different palette.  He's a huge fan of the Real Madrid team, so we created a simple yet cool dessert table and background fit for a pre-teen little guy.

We used artificial grass as our background and framed it with two tall balloon columns.  A banner with our team colors hanged at the middle.

This table was smaller than our usual displays, but it turned out fantastic with these colors.  Grass mats were used to display several of our desserts, including chocolate covered oreos, sugar cookies, brownies, nutella cheesecakes and french macarons.  The cake was, as always, our center point along chocolate cupcakes with soccer ball toppers.

{British Royal Birthday Bash}

I am so excited to show you this beautiful party!  You might remember this sweet family from the many events we have created for their little boys.  Francisco is my friend's third little prince.  After the fabulous hot air balloon baby shower we created for her last year we knew we had to step it up a notch with his first birthday.  So she chose a London royal theme, and it was smashing!

Joanna from GloboArte created a large British guard and lamp post to complement our d-board telephone booth creating an awesome background for our main table.

As always we setup a dessert and candy bar full of delicious sweetness.  Candy favorites that should always be part of a candy stand and home made desserts complete our fantastic table.  Among the desserts we offered mini trifles, lemon cookie biscuits, french macarons and jello cups by Merari's Pastry.  Cupcakes and cake pops with the london theme were brought in along with the beautiful cake by EndulsArte by Mary Annette.  She is an artist with porcelain and gum paste.  The cake topper was inspired by the little soldier from digital graphics by KandyMagick we used on our stationary.  We also served suger cookies by Peggy in three iconic designs.

We used lots of aluminum tea cans with the Brithish theme that we were so lucky to find at Marshall's.  These came in red, white and blue as well as with the British flag, a couple of tin taxi cabs and iconic mailboxes.  How cute are they!  They worked amazingly for us as we used them to display candy on the dessert table and white and blue daisies for our centerpieces for which  we used several types of boxes, paper luggage, frames and flowers.

The favor table was framed by a d-board double decker bus.  Small tin buckets were filled with kid's favorites embellished with a gift tag.

And as usual we completed the setup with bottle water labels, paper straws, striped favor bags, a birthday banner and framed signs.

So fun and bright! A party fit for a little prince.
