{Transformers Birthday Bash}

Hey guys!

I'm back to show you our latest party!  Seven year old Diego is crazy about all things Transformers and his favorite, Bumblebee.  So I designed everything around his favorite Autobot.  We went with a black, yellow, red and blue colors scheme.  A 4'x6' theme background was placed behind the dessert table with both main characters greeting guests.

The table featured the usual favorites: cake pops, brownies, lollipops, pastries, chocolate and cupcakes.

Our very talented cake artist Jovanna created an awesome cake with Bumblebee as the focal point.  Look at that detail!

We completed the overall look with custom made birthday banner, dessert tags, favor boxes with thank you tags, water bottle with paper straws and centerpieces.

{Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Birthday}

Hey there!

This next party is a trip down memory lane for this mom who wanted to share her love for Strawberry Shortcake with her birthday girl.  The whole party was inspired by a piece of fabric that her mother had saved from her childhood bedroom.  Since there is no way we could recreate the theme without the actual vintage Strawberry Shortcake doll, I purchased the high quality graphic from Hello Love Too via Etsy.

As always, I asked Johanna from GloboArte to create a masterpiece and what better than larger than life size doll!  She went all out to create all the balloon art.

Then there is the dessert table full of strawberry goodness:  strawberry mousse, meringues, gummi bears, marshmallows and puff candy, as well as other favorites such as brownies, M&Ms, fruits, guava pastries, french macarons and, of course, sugar cookies by the very talented Peggy Pérez.

None of my dessert tables is complete without water bottle labels, striped straws with little flags, tags and garlands and all the cuteness I always find on Shop Sweet Lulu, such as the little wooden spoons, goody bags, strawberry baskets and striped straws.

So fun creating this one!

Love,

{Minecraft Birthday Party}

I'm a bit behind posting our latest parties, but here I am sharing this awesome birthday styled by my friend Mare Romo for her little boy Carlos.  He is a super fan of the video game Minecraft so as soon as he said he wanted this theme for this 9th birthday his mom went to town with all the planning.  As I have said before, for me it's a great pleasure to work with such a talented person.  She basically came up with all the ideas and this time I just collaborated with my paper products, stationary and a touch here and there.  All the graphics, patterns and fonts that resemble those of the game are online free to download.  She printed massive amounts of paper to wrap boxes to create her own Minecraft world landscape, blocks and characters.  She also made all the desserts served on the main table.  I created the banner, food tags, mini bunting, water bottle labels, little flags for the paper straws and signs. I hope you enjoy this party as much as I do!

A special thanks to Jillian from Catch My Party for already featuring our party as Party of the Day!
